Thanks, Tim. I hope to be able to carry on with the same aplomb and grace you've always demonstrated (or, if/when I screw up, I hope at least to screw up with style)... I confess I'm really glad you're still going to be around.

 

As I gather my list-owner wits, I may enlarge the focus of the list and/or institute a few new traditions (such as posting more of my father's working notes once a month or something like that). I'm open to suggestions from list subscribers on the subject.

The time has come for a changing of the guard on the ROSEN list. Several months ago, due to changes in my life and my available time, I felt it was perhaps time to leave the role of listowner. I did not want to see the list simply shutdown so it was important to hand over the reins of the list to someone both capable and passionate about the topic who would carry on the role of stewardship of the list.

 

Fortunately, Judith Rosen agreed to take on that role, and now the time has come to implement this changeover. As of today, the list ownership and administration will be in Judith's capable hands.

 

As for myself, I will continue to be a list subscriber and maintain an archive of the list, but I will probably be an infrequent poster, as I have been this last couple of months. No, there is nothing tragic or mysterious going on in my life to divert me - its simply the mundane practicalities of time and work and home that have changed. My website has suffered from lack of attention and now I am exiting the role of listowner, but my interest in Rosen's work remains fixed, and I look forward to when I can devote more time to that area of my life.
