Re: about Robert Rosen's work

Don:
"I did what I could" - and you did a lot.
I agree: the world (as well as the 'word') of "scinece" is strange, The world is an establishment jealously guarding their power-structure and money-connections (grants etc.) while the 'word' is restricted to the reductionistic branches, evolved over the millennia - when reductionistic thinking was the only one fitting the human mind's capabilities.

So I do agree with your use of "had time" in the sense that only now  IS the time to show (identify) (and truly: in the Rosennean sense)
"the failure of its unerlying philosophy and methodology."

I wouldn't think of spreading Rosenism among "money grubbers". And the 'next renaissance? one should not "wait" for it - rather "work" to bring it about.

Thanks for the reply

John,
I did what I could.   The world of "science" is a strange one.  I don't think reductionism has had time to show the failure of its unerlying philosophy and methodology.  As long as drug companies and other money grubbers get what they need from it who needs Rosen?  To me these are dark times all around.  I wait for the next renessiance.
