How odd. I think I've entered the Twilight Zone, where everything
is backwards, sideways, or otherwise skewed...

Indeed, the only criticism I recall derailing effective
communication was flowing from Howard Pattee... To which I responded
with logic, which amounted to a counter-criticism of the points in
Howard's argument. Fair is fair, isn't it? Whatever happened to "academic
disputation"?
