Re: George Kampis



Yes, I have it and have read it.

I found it to be very useful as an adjunct to Rosen's "Life Itself" insofar
as I think Kampis expresses his ideas somewhat more readably than does Rosen
in LI. It is not absolutely essential, but it is very helpful, IMHO. Kampis'
main conclusion (or perhaps I should say, his central focus) differs
significantly from Rosen's. However the arguments leading there are very
much like Rosen's, and I find some of his descriptions and illustrations of
these arguments to be more attainable than Rosen's denser and almost
entirely mathematical approach.

To me, this is one of those books that is a tragedy not to have been
reprinted or republished.
