Hmm, I wonder if SW could support self-referential loops. Since it is
computationally-based, I am inclined to think not. Otherwise, it would end
up in an infinite algorithmic loop, trying to resolve referents, it would
seem to me. I suspect this kind of system could only be hierarchical in
nature. It could be a flexible hierarchy, though, taking contexts into
account. Kinda reminds me a little of Marvin Minsky's 'frames' in early
AI....
