Dear Tim,
it is a comely fashion (and a lazy
one) to leave all precedents of a post in the reply. RR-listers like to
write long and leave many hundreds of lines in the mailing.
That adds to the burden of the
archive.
With a well working archive and
careful selection of referred text it would mean a fraction of the
present sea-monster and cost also a fraction of it
I appreciate your 'managing'
sacrifice.

Re: List Issue: Dual Archives
As
a temporary measure, I have changed access to the Lsoft archives to
'Owner', so that only I can view them. I'll probably just maintain
them that way so that I can still utilize the archive space
as short-term backup space.
I
have deleted references to the Lsoft archives on my website, and I have
added a pointer on the main listpage to the archives on my website.
(That main listpage gets updated only once or twice a day, so it may
not show up until tomorrow.)
