you are full of (palatable) surprizes:

indeed I found it. I used to use that 'properties' box to distinguish spam from virus and in those infernal e-mails I found just lots of garbage. So I did not even try it for a decent purpose.

To Judith's advice (Forward) it sais as her address: "Judith Rosen", nothing else. The address details are not shown,  but in the Property - Details box it shows her down-to-Earthlink data.

 

The 'palatable' comes in with your professional RR-vernacular vs. the innocent (rather ignorant) bystanders' first attempts.

It has not been pejoratively meant. I read it.

Judith, I would be happy to 'matchmake', but I don't know YOUR applicable e-mail address either: both list (Listserve) have the "courtesy" of marking NAMES for FROM instead of e-mail addresses (as do some other listservers). I tried several times to send you some off-list post but could do it only with a technical somersault: reply to the list and erase the list address as well as the list-text - then write my in private parts.

Buck just wrote: he found on Google Tim's website stating:

So it is imminent to give something less professional and more palatable than Tim's "real" RR-text.

I believe you are using Outlook Express? If so, then to see the FROM email address:

1) Open that email message

2) Click on FILE, then PROPERTIES

3) A small info window should popup.

4) Click on the DETAILS tab.

5) The complete FROM address (name and email) should be listed, along with the other header info.

 

Hopefully these are "palatable" instructions - LOL :)
