Jack,
I'm not sure what you mean by "a Rosennean model". Models are to answer
"why?" questions - different models can answer different "why?" questions. I
think it might be easier to first come up with the "why?" question you want
to solve, and from that proceed to determine what kind of model(s) are
needed.
