Teleology and Anticipation

In September 04 I wrote a post "Teleology, Least Action, and Variational
Principles" that seems relevant to the current discussion. It has to do with
quotes from Rosen and Mach (referencing Euler) about the Principle of Least
Action, and then my musing about possibly applying their line of thinking to
biological organisms.
