new book with complexity, impredicativity concepts

Folks (on both Rosen/complexity) lists,

This new book sounds promising, though maybe not in the
field of study of most folks (does fit for me, as I first saw
need for Rosen/complexity by studying agroecosystems, and
I still see these systems as integral to sustainable human
futures and requiring aid of complexity to get there):

Multi-scale Integrated Analysis of Agroecosystems. Mario
Giampietro. CRC Press Nov. 2003. Some promo info from
the flyer:

Exposes the clash of reductionist methods vs the complexity
of actual systems

Applies complex system theory to the study of agroecosystems

Introduces the concepts of Multi-scale Mosaic Effect,
Impredicative Loop Analysis and Surfing Complex Time

Complex systems thinking: daring to violate basic taboos of
reductionism

Impredicative Loop Analysis: dealing with chicken-egg
processes (with Kozo Mayumi)
