I am in the process of digging for a paper my father wrote, title in the subject line, about the lamentable wisdom in most strategies for business that are based on a short term view. It occurred to me as I was talking to John K. about my father's work on optimality and decision making, that environmental sustainability is a long-term view. Therefore, this paper, which deals with exactly those concepts, would be a good post right now.

 

I'm lining all my ducks in a row. Talk amongst yourselves..... I'll have it on here within a couple days.
