John,
Not sure. He seems very devoted to writing these days. Many great articles
out recently. He has also mentioned work on a textbook on his network
analysis methods. He did participate in the VCU complexity list for a
while.
Can't hurt to ask!
Just curious - what's your project with him? He's my PhD co-advisor now.
I will be trying to commute down to his place once this fall and 3-4 times
in the spring for an independent study on his network analysis methods.
Maybe we could meet at one of those and all 3 chat?
Where are you, geographically, anyway?
One other project that's simmering along on a back burner is a workshop
I proposed on Bob's "ecological metaphysic". I am working with two other
folks to try to get funding and allies for convening this some time in
relatively near future. Bob's ecological metaphysic is similar to Rosen's
comprehensive critique of science back to Newton. I think it a great start
toward what science ought to become next...and soon.
